David Posnack Hebrew Day Schools are organized into four distinctive facilities. Two Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th grade), one Middle School (6th-8th grades) and one college prep High School (9th-12th grades). The schools are located in Plantation and Davie, Florida and serve communities from North Miami, all of Broward County and portions of Palm Beach County. The curriculum provides for a broad academic background which covers mathematics, language arts, technology and the sciences. The school takes great pride in its fine arts programs, i.e., drama, vocal and instrumental music. Physical education and athletics play an important role in this all encompassing educational program.

The mission of the Posnack Hebrew Day School is to provide the highest quality education in a Jewish environment in which our students will develop in a positive manner, spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. The school fosters wisdom and understanding while enabling the child to be self-sufficient, responsible, aware and productive. Each student will be prepared to become a responsible community leader who will appreciate the diversity of Jewish life.

The school is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida and the Central Agency for Jewish Education. Professional affiliations include the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the National Association of Middle Schools, the Jewish Community Day School Network and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. We are a recipient agency of the Jewish Federation of Broward County of Florida.
