Aims of the Association

To maintain the highest educational, ethical, and professional standards among memberschools for the benefit of the children of Florida

To recognize the importance of philosophical approaches to education in order to meet the distinctive needs of children and parents

To accredit private/independent schools in the State of Florida according to theStandards of the Academic Schools Accreditation Program (ASAP) and the Early Childhood Accreditation Program (ECAP)

To provide organizational and pedagogical services to member schools and their teachers and administrators

To foster the availability of the best educational experiences to all students regardless of race, color, national origin, ethnic origin, and disability (if not exempt from Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act)

To promote awareness of governmental regulations and legislation affecting schools

To assist member and affiliated schools in achieving their goals and in improving member schools’ educational and administrative standards

To maintain cooperative relationships among AISF schools and between the Association and private and public organizations
