Board Member
Afua Baptiste has found her passion in education. That passion led her to own and operate her own programs for over three decades, and it sparked her interest in accreditation. As a former Vice President of Accreditation for AISF, Afua values school improvement and is devoted to promoting the highest standards for independent education in Florida.
Pre-School (3) – Grade 8, Coed, Montessori, Non-Denominational, Foreign Language, Extended Day, Enrichment Activities, Interscholastic Sports Teams, Academic and Sports Summer Programs, Foreign Travel.
The Association began in 1949 as the Private Schools Association of Dade County and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1958. AISF schools serve more than 25,000 students in various programs: traditional and Montessori; boarding and day; pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and secondary; special learning needs; experimental; religious, non-sectarian, non-denominational; and college preparatory.
